3D TARDIS Console 3.0 - 360 Rotation
Thanks to Luke over at the fantastic www.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk I was steered in the direction of a couple of bits of jQuery which allow some nifty bits of object manipulation if you have the right right frames for it. So here's my first attempt.

This rotating model is a view of the Tom Baker console created for Pyramids of Mars recording. It was the third console to be built and you can learn all about on the History of the Console 3.0 page.

This version of the console was only ever seen on screen on screen during two stories. The first to be recorded was Pyramids of Mars and it is in this configuration that the model above has been produced. The second variant was for recording Planet of Evil, for which the panel sequence was altered. Thereafter it was totally refurbished before appearing in The Invisible Enemy.

iPhone OptimisedThere is an iPad / iPhone version of this image.

360 PyramidsIf you like this then view the Invisible Enemy Console which is much more colourful and appeared after the wooden control room had been in use for a season. There were many surprising differences. For more renders of this console and its accompanying version of the control room, visit the TARDIS renders page.

This brilliant idea came from Luke at www.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk so big thanks to him. Coming soon - a 360 of the Invisible Enemy console. Follow me on Twitter for notifications of new stuff!
